Touch Screen 4GB 2.8-Inch TFT MP5 Movie Music Personal Media Player

I bought this player for my 11 year old and have had great luck with it. We found that it was easy to load music, videos and games on from my computer - just a matter of copying files from the computer to the device. It is also easy to use once you get the hang of it. The screen is bright and crisp and it seems to be pretty durable. My daughter loves the internal speaker (no ear buds required) and the touch screen display. The only "wishes" that we have for it are - a place to put the little "pen" on the machine, and that the touch screen were a little more sensitive. Her best friend has an I-pod Nano and was jealous of all the features that this little player has and how well it works compared to the I-pod.

This unit has a very large screen and it is very easy to see the video. I have a One Click YouTube downloader. Then I use the free software from CNET to convert it to the Media Players file extention. Then plug the Player into the computer and move the files over. I do not see how it can be any easier. There are lots of music videos on the internet ready to download. Even the expensive media players you have to covert to their format. In fact they can be more difficult to use because of copy protection that you do not run into on these units. If you want to download the music videos for free, then this is the one to get. It is like having a little TV in your pocket. Whatever is on TV can be recorded and played on your media player. Esp with the clear crisp digital image they have now. Just get a video capture card and your ready to go. Get some LG speakers and you can share your music with your friends and even look on the screen to see who is making the music. Plug them in at night and your ready to go the next day. Be sure to back up your files, because you never know when you will have to reformat & reload your computer or player. The small screen players are nice also. But this is a great deal with the large screen and the easy to use touch buttons.

First of all NEVER DOWNLOAD LARGE FILES DIRECTLY ON TO THE MP4, if you do the MP4 will crash(i.e. turn off forever). This happened to me and others. Once it crashes there is nothing you can do to get it working again, you can avoid the problem by transfering only small files at a time. I contacted Pro biz customer support before and after my MP4 crashed they contacted me within an hour after I emailed them and were very helpful. I had some problems getting video on to the MP4 so he sent me to, [...],where there was a simple and easy proceeder to get video on to the device. They also told me that currently the only game available on the MP4 is the one already on it, but they are working on making more. They also told me that the MP4 only takes mini SD cards, it will not take micro or SDHC cards, there is a difference.
So in conclusion I rated the product a 4 even though it crashed on me because of the great customer support and because you can avoid the crashing by being sure to never downloading large files( group of more than ten songs, or more than one video at a time)directly on to the mp4 player.

I was a little skeptical about purchasing this player since it is made by a no-name company. Usually buying cheap things with no brand name has been disappointing for me but I decided to take the plunge and buy it based on the reviews I have read. I am very happy I took the gamble. This is really a nice player considering the price!

When I first got it I was impressed by the packaging. It looked nice and came with all the accessories. When I first held the player it felt alright--construction I think is above average but not as solid and durable as the Iphone. Why compare the body to the Iphone you ask? Well the answer is because it is made to look almost identical to the Iphone in terms of shape, feel, and overall look but obviously that is where the similarities end.

Now in terms of using it, I was very impressed by the wide varity of formats it plays. In the old days when I had other video players, they usually played a very limited formats or only one proprietary video format which required the dreaded and tedious process of conversion. This player is great because it easily plays a large amount of diverse formats with no problem at all. The mp3 player is also very easy to use--no conversion required.

Loading videos and music from my computer to the player is SUPER EASY! I love this. All you have to do is open the drive which corresponds to the player and copy and paste the video and mp3 files to the player. THAT'S IT! Nothing complicated. In fact, if you plug your player to your computer, your computer should open the player drive for you. How easy is that! Once loaded all you have to do is touch the video icon-to play a particular video file-and that is it!

Now for the most important and crucial part of the player: video playback quality and sound quality. I am happy to say the video quality is good but NOT great. I bet the resolution during video playback of an Apple multimedia player and other much more expensive players are slightly better, but they will cost you a lot more money than this player. Think $150 or more at least for a video player with higher quality playback and built-in 4GB. The sound is also good but not great.

The player also has a nice feature which I like which is a speaker. Yea the speaker is small and has somewhat of tinny sound but that said it is passable. The speaker is more of a convenience feature to be used in the event that you don't have your earphones. The sound with the included earphones are good but it will sound a lot better if you buy a good quality earphones like a Sony or Panasonic.

In terms of battery life, this remains a question mark since I just got this device and I really did not have a chance to really test it out in terms of battery life. I will update this review when I chance to really test it out.

Another aspect which I like to mention is about the durability of this media player. I don't know how many times you can drop it or abuse it before it stops working right. I know that the Iphone and other good products made by Apple are drop tested many times and are designed to take a lot of abuse and still work. I am a little concerned about this issue because cheap "knock-offs" are really disposable and are not really meant to last since they are cheaply constructed. So far I am happy with this player and I hope that it can take a lot of abuse especially since I have a baby newphew that likes to throw things!

Finally, what I like about this player is that it is EXPANDABLE. This may not sound like a big deal but it really is. The player comes with built-in memory of 4GB but you can add a mini SD card and expand the memory. In my research of media players I noticed most of them-including the very expensive ones-had fixed memory/built-in memory storage and that is it. That means that with other players if you have a lot of things you want to add in the future and if you reached the memory storage limit of the player, you either have to delete what you have stored or buy another player with more built-in memory. With this player you just simply add a memory card with your video/music files on it. You don't have to delete anything you have stored even if you have reached the storage 4GB limit. THIS IS A GREAT AND CONVENIENT FEATURE. Since I just got the player I have not had to use a memory card but it is nice to know that I could if I want to expand the memory storage capacity.


UPDATE:

After 2 weeks, I had to return this multimedia player. The battery life is very bad and it failed to stay on when I "turned it on"!!!! I sent emails to the company and they were nice and responsive. Eventually after trying everything they told me to return it back to Amazon for a refund. I contacted Amazon and I was able to return it with no hassle. I like that.

Do yourself a favor, DON'T BUY VERY CHEAP MULTIMEDIA PLAYERS!! Yea the price is great but you are playing Russian Roulette. You will not know what you are buying until you use it only to find out it craps out after several weeks. Stick to well known brand like Fuze by Sandisk which I purchased. Yea it will cost you a little more BUT IT IS WORTH IT! I use it all the time and I never had any problems. Remember, you get what you pay for especially in this case. DO NOT GET THIS PLAYER!

For a long time now I've been wanting a nice Mp4 player so I don't have to carry my PSP around to play my music, but I was unwilling to spend a lot of many on a product that I was sure would be broken soon after being purchased.

But when I came across this player, I figured, "Why not? It's cheap!" so I bought it. So far (one month into ownership), I have no complaints! I've dropped it several times and even set very heavy items ontop of it and it is still looking great without so much as a scratch, which surprised me considering all the bad reviews! Yes, the screen is a little insensitive sometimes, but I prefer it that way so when I lug it around in my purse, or shove it into my pocket, it doesn't turn on accidentally or change songs on me.

I do have lots of trouble with the tuner for the FM Radio, but I really don't need it with all the songs I keep on my player anyhow!

So over all, Im very glad I purchased this Mp4 and it is definately a five star piece!

Was looking for a media player for my kids to use in the car on long road trips. We're sick of switching out DVDs in our little player and two kids means disagreement. This is a perfect option, it is inexpensive enough that they each can have their own and I can download their favorite cartoons from YouTube for hours of entertainment. May use for music and games as kids get older. One drawback...although it was clear you needed to use the included AVI converter to get videos to work I still got error messages...turns out I had to first convert my WMV to MP4 using Kinoma Producer ($30), then downloaded the free MP4 to AVI converter I found on this product's help page, THEN use the supplied AVI converter. Most people with less technical knowledge would have had trouble. Works like a dream!

The mp4 runs very smooth, Have no problems so far.

Videos are easy to put on and play just use the CD that comes with.

Its no super fancy device, but it works. With radio, video, music, photo/text viewers, & a recording device, not to mention a compact design--It works for me! To upload is simple: just drag from folder to folder! It does have its quirks, and like anything new it takes a bit of getting used to, but I really enjoy it! All in all, I am very pleased with my purchase! ^____^

The item has a nice appearance over all. The only thing that annoys me is that when i tap on an icon, it responds like 2 seconds later. Other than that, it's nice. It is super easy to transfer music, vids, and pics.
