at the Philharmonic Hall, New York on October 8th, 1972. The Strict
Rules and Intricacies Governing Indian Classical Music Pose

Certain Responses, to Challenge and Query, Each Time with a Result

A Masterpiece and a Must-have1 person found this review helpful.
Ravi Shankar's music never disappoints, but his essence is found in
his live quartet performances. This live recording, a rare Apple US
release, is gorgeous in both sound quality and musicianship. I
listen to it at least once a month. It's a shame that it's no
longer available - I'm glad I bought it when the price was more
reasonable (okay, it was a $50 import. But it was worth it!).
Hopefully Apple will rerelease it in the future. If they do, and you're even vaguely interested in Indian music, get it.
