Me vs. Me

At first, I was having trouble keeping track of what was happening in this story, but I caught on quickly. In our lives, we all have choices. In this book, the heroine gets to see the consequences of taking two paths. Very interesting writing. Very interesting concept. Very enjoyable.

I always enjoy Sarah's books and look forward to them, this one does not disappoint. Gabby's life is all coming together perfectly. Then her boyfriend proposes, and she says yes, then wants to say no, then wishes she could have it both ways. And then poof, she does. As Gabby lives two separate lives, she finds herself yearning for various aspects of both of them while dealing with psycho roommates and the mother-in-law-to-be from hell. This book is super-entertaining, I couldn't put it down.

I bought me vs me on an impulse, I was going to do an all night flight and I wanted something that would ease me to sleep while flying. Wrong book for that! I couldn't and wouldn't put it down! Even when I got to my destination I was reading it! I laughed, I shook my head is dismay, I gasped in surprise. It is a great book and I am just looking forward to reading more of her books! I have lent it to my friends and now I have a few friends looking into Sarahs books! Good job, Sarah!

I started reading this book and could not get in to it. I had not read any reviews for this book I bought it because of the star rating it had received. So, I had no forewarning of the storyline. So reader, be prepared for Groundhog day with a twist! That is the best way to describe it. It isn't the same day over and over but ..... well read it and see for yourself. I am not going to spoil it for you. I got to the end and realised I totally enjoyed this book, it is really very good. The characters are really good and each has a different relevant role to play in the book. I didn't go for five stars only because it took a little to get into it. Reader, push through the start of the book and you will love it.

This is a GREAT read. I have been reading Sarah Mlynowski's books since her first novel, Milkrun was published. She never disappoints! Me vs. Me explores what happens when the book's protagonist, Gabby, ultimately has to decide between a once in a lifetime career move to NYC or to get married to her current boyfriend and live with him in Arizona. Luckily, Gabby makes a wish before going to sleep one night that she wouldn't have to make a choice between her two options. When Gabby wakes up the next day, she finds herself living both lives, waking up one day in Arizona with her fiancee, the next single in NYC working her new job. The book keeps you hooked because it's entertaining to see how both of Gabby's lives progress and you find yourself wondering, which life will she choose, and more importantly, does she have a choice?

This book was so funny and intriguing that I could not put it down! The author has a witty sense of humor that is sure to please......

This has to be the best of all her books, I love the idea of the dual lives Gabby lives, where can I sign up for that! I couldn't put it down and really didn't want it to end! You will not be disappointed with this one!

This was an interesting read about a woman, Gabby Wolf, who leads two lives. Her boyfriend, Cam, proposes to her, but if she marries him, it means she can't go to New York and have the exciting news producer job she's always dreamed of. She'd have to stay in Tucson with Cam, since he doesn't want to do long-distance. So she wishes she could have it both ways...and presto! she can. Each morning she wakes up in a different place, either Tucson or New York, and her two lives are parallel. It's kind of like the movie Sliding Doors.

She has problems in each life. Her New York roommate is unstable and unpredictable (but kind of entertaining), while in Tucson, her evil mother-in-law is seizing control of all the wedding planning. (The mother-in-law bits will ring true for many readers.) Finally, she can't take it anymore and makes a decision, merging both lives into one.

This was a real page-turner because you want to see which life she will choose. The ending was a little bit predictable, but other than that, it was an excellent book. I would recommend it to anyone who liked Sarah Mlynowski's other books. In fact, it might be her best.

What a great premise for a book. Gabby can't make up her mind if she wants to marry her love or go to New York for the job of her dreams. While getting to live both choices she really gets the best of both worlds. Most of us would love to be able to do that. This book was interesting and funny. I really enjoyed reading this while on my last vacation. While probably not a deep discussion book, the book is thought provoking and very entertaining. I would call it chick lit with thought.

Read this if you want a winner!

Gabby Wolf lives in Phoenix with a roomate/best friend a good job and a great boyfriend. The only problem is that she has always wanted to go to NYC to be a Producer for a big time show. Several Nights before she is set to go to NYC she and her boyfriend Cameron proposes to her during a meteor shower and she makes a wish that she could have both lives-live in Phoenix with her fience AND live in NYC experiencing the single life. Then she gets her wish and it is not what she expected.

Life One:
Living with her fience, trying to plan a wedding with her future mother in law who wants her own way on almost everything while trying to find a job at the same time

Life Two:
Living the single life in NYC with her crazy roomate and a very demanding job.

When she falls asleep in one she wakes up in the other until she figures out which life she wants.

Very interesting read!
