I got the Klean Kanteen Sport Cap because for the Klean Kanteen
water bottles that I got from LLBean, you had to unscrew the cap
and drink from the bottle itself and the mouth of the bottle is
wide. The sports cap answers that problem and is great in every
respect except it leaks no matter how tightly I screw it on. If it
falls on its side in my pack it leaks inside the pack. Also, it
makes a whistling noise when you drink from it. I saw a suggestion
that it whistles when the cap is screwed on too tight. But why
would I want to loosen it up when it leaks? Still, it allows me to
drink from the bottle without unscrewing the cap and that's a plus.

This lid has finally made carrying around my stainless steel water
bottle as easy as those old plastic ones. It is so convenient to
have the handle. I loop it on one finger and my car keys on the
other and am good to go. The spout works great I think because
there is a little vent piece that seems to equalize the pressure
inside so it doesn't make it too hard to open or close. Plus, I
don't have to unscrew the lid to take a drink. When on my bottle,
it does not leak. I've tipped it to try. I also use it on my other
bottles of a different brand and it fits great. The three pack is
helpful if one lid is still in the dishwasher. Good job Klean
Kanteen!

I really like my Klean Kanteen, but I found that I spilled the
water on myself often when drinking without a lid. These sport caps
are great for eliminating the spills, especially while driving in
the car.
I gave 4 stars rather than 5 because of the awful sound it produces when drinking from it. It almost reminds me of a turkey or something like that. You can cover the hole/rubber stopper thing with your finger to minimize the sound. I now drink without the cap while in the office (share an office with somebody) and use the cap at all other times.

The new Klean Kanteen Sports Caps work much better than the old
ones, and it's nice to have the carrying loops too. I have eight
Klean Kanteen bottles and each one has a new Sports Cap!

Works great for a single user. Note, you need to physically suck to
get the water out, and an air vent puts air back in the other side.

I noticed that the chirping noises can be reduced or eliminated by
slightly pressing down on the white silicone dot with a thumb or
finger whilst drinking from the Klean Kanteen bottle.

This cap is pretty much better than the original in every single
way. It allows much better liquid flow, much more quiet, and has a
finger loophole so you can hold it very easily. If you use this
bottle at the gym, it's pretty much essential!

I don't know how I made it all these years with out this handy
gadget ? Makes drinking out of a bottle a very pleasant experience.
NO more trying to suck the bottom out of a pool any more, with it's
built in air valve the water flows freely and as fast as you want.
Plus it is well made and should last a long time.

Sip AwayThe sipper top is an invention that should have been used by the
inventors of the Klean Kanteen. It works great and makes the
canteen much more useful and easier to use.

Klean Kanteen improved sport capI was very pleased with the sports caps I ordered to replace old
ones my boys have used on their stainless steel water bottles. With
the old models, they used to use their teeth to open the caps,
damaging the caps and probably their teeth, too. The new design is
definitely an improvement on two counts: the cap opens easily when
you pull the cover off and can be closed firmly by little fingers;
the new hook is at an angle which facilitates hanging on school
hooks without undue pressure on the bottle cap or the hook. Great
product!
