Incipio Leather Wallet Case for Zune 80/120 GB (Caramel)

Nice, snug little case - thought it would be a little darker, though. Could use a belt snap, but a very nice case for the zune. - Goes to work with me everyday.

I just got my case today and I have to say I am happy with what I got. The case looks really nice- I love the color- and it keeps my Zune very well-protected. At first glance, I thought it looked like it would be loose. But it fits nicely and that's what matters. The magnets that keep it closed are strong, so there are no problems of it coming undone and the Zune falling out. The screen protector, though it doesn't fit right against the screen, looks nice and clear. The buttons are also easy to use without anything getting in the way. There are really no issues with the case- I love it. My Zune fits well and is very protected. For the price, I actually got a great product. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to keep their Zune safe- it's a great case.

I would have rather gotten the Incipio Leather Wallet Case for Zune 80/120 GB (Black) but it was out of stock and this one was $10 less. I just received this product, so this review is pretty much one of first impressions.

[[The Good]]

Material
--The leather (yes, it's real leather) is soft and feels sturdy enough to protect my Zune. I'm not sure how well it will stand up to scratches, though.

Sturdy Magnet
--Takes a bit of effort to open, but it's not a hassle. I don't envision it accidentally coming undone and my Zune taking a spill.

Good Protection
--Padded enough that I don't fear my Zune's untimely death should it fall onto the ground.

[[The Bad]]

Plastic Screen Protector
--Seems a bit too big for the case as it tends to have a slight hill shape instead of being flat. This will inevitably allow dust and lint to creep in. I had to use two slivers of invisible tape to keep it down, but that makes the Zune and case look cheap, so I'll have to come up with an alternate solution.

Fit
--My Zune 80GB fit semi-snugly, but the leather attached to the screen protector left about 1/8" gap between it and my Zune, which will no doubt let some dust and lint in. It should be an easy cleanup, though.

Wallet Feature
--If you're looking for some semblance of a wallet here, all you get is enough space for one card- two if you really squeeze things into the pocket. I was hoping to keep my credit card and ID in the case, but I'm not so sure how easy it will be to remove the cards in a timely fashion when checking out in line.

[[Neutral Concerns]]

--The caramel color is different than the picture displays. It is more like a light tan. It's not the most masculine color, but it'll work.

[[Summary]]

This is an acceptable product, but I recommend getting the black version mentioned above if you're a guy like me. No case is perfect, but this one does its job pretty well if you can ignore the slight screen protector annoyance and 2-card limit for the "wallet" pocket. 3.5 stars.

Generaly I like the look and feel of the leather and I like the magnetic thing that holds the leather covering the front of the Zune. It has a sturdy quality to it, so I have no fear that my Zune will get damaged from normal use and keeping it in pockets. There is easy access for the usb- and audio-connector and to the Zune pad.

The clear plastic that covers the screen, however, is a poor quality plastic that easily gets scratches. They are not easily seen if you set the backlight to high. The leather around the screen isn't tight enough, so dust and dirt creep in there often enough to annoy you. The case makes the entire Zune take up quite a lot more space. The Zune 80 fits nicely in it without any "wiggling room".

I bought the case for my 80 GB zune. It is a good case, a little bit thick, which is good because I dropped it a few times. There is an opening at the bottom of the case, so you can connect the charging cable without taking it outside the case. Also the case seems a little bit big, so probably it will fit the 30 GB zune too. Which I don't really like since does not provide a good fit.
Anyway, that is a good case that will protect your Zune
