Product Description
Great elastic laces 35" in length, Color: Black. One of the
advantages of this laces is that they provide a more even pressure
all around your feet. Ideal for triathlons and for running, you can
adjust them easily and fast. Great for kids. We offer these laces
in the largest length available: 35". If you need shorter laces you
just cut the remaining. Is that easy! They're topped off with a
black cord stop so they can be quickly adjusted for desired
pressure and they won't slide out of your top eyelet the way a
coiled lace will. For normal wear, leave them loose enough so they
expand only slightly when you slip the shoe on. If you need a more
snug fit, just press the button and adjust the cord stop. They're
great for anybody that can't bend to tie! They make any pair of
athletic shoes a snug fitting pair of loafers. These laces are
excellent for athletic use. Just slide the cord stop down to
provide the desired pressure for running, tennis, soccer or
whatever.

I bought a pair of elastic laces at the Chicago Marathon Expo in
October 2008 and fell in love with them. So, I recently decided to
search the Internet for something comparable for my other 2 pairs
of running shoes. These are far inferior quality for more than what
I paid at the expo. The laces are too elastic and fragile, and the
locking clasp is cheap. Overall, a pretty poor product. In the
future I will not buy elastic laces off the Internet; I'd gladly
spend the time to find a local vendor and see/inspect what I'm
buying.

I bought these strings to replace the old ones in my hiking shoes.
I did not use the clasp that it came with, so I can not say how
they do. But the elastic strings are very thin. It's very hard to
get the snug feel on them. I pull the strings, and it just never
gets tight.
