Bunn BCF100-T 100-Count Basket Filter

AFTER SEVERAL MONTHS OF FRUSTRATION WITH MY EXPENSIVE STARBUCKS BARISTA AROMA GRANDE OVERFLOWING GRINDS AND SEDIMENT OVER THE TOP EDGE OF THE MELLITA PAPER FILTERS AND INTO THE COFFEE POT, I BOUGHT THESE FILTERS AT MY LOCAL ACE HARDWARE AND WAS AMAZED THAT THEY INDEED DO WORK BETTER WITH NO OVERFLOW. THIS PROBABLY IS DUE TO A TALLER PROFILE TO THE FILTER AND A MORE TIGHTLY FLUTED FILTER WALL. THIS MAKES A STRONGER FILTER EDGE WHICH DOES NOT FOLD DOWN AND PROBABLY INCREASES THE FILTRATION SURFACE AREA....HIGHLY RECOMMENDED OVER THE OTHER BRANDS.

What can I say....they are the ONLY ones that fit my Bunn o matic coffee maker. Now it doesn't over flow because the so called generic one's that say they fit it, just DON'T.
The order came 2 days after they were ordered..I liked that too.

Bunn coffe makers make a 10-cup pot of coffee in less than 3 minutes. Because of this, the filter must do its job of filtering, and have a flow rate fast enough to keep the grounds basket from overflowing. Bunn filters do that quite well, but others don't. So, if you use other brand filters in a Bunn coffee maker, you'll have coffee grounds coming up and over the edge of the filter and down into the pot of coffee. They are a bit more expensive than other coffee filters, and that's because they are much better filters, and must-have if you have a Bunn coffee maker.

The only filters to use in your bunn coffee maker, period. No overflow, no sagging filters. I won't ues any other brand.

If you have ever had to toss out a pot of coffee ruined by a filter that collapsed or just didn't fit right, this product is what you need. Stop throwing your money away. These filters actually work!

IF you want to avoid spillovers and grounds in your coffee pot, then you must use Bunn filters with a Bunn machine. They are just better equipped to handle the fast flow rates.

As to the shipping cost, yes, its absurd that it costs $7.50 to ship a $1 product, but the $7.50 is a fixed cost no matter how many boxes you order. I know I'll go through 75-100 filters per month, so I bought 600 filters (6 boxes). Works out to under $2.50 per box inclusive of shippping. Still not cheap, but these are genuine Bunn filters, which are important, and I'm set for 6 months. I can live with that, since I can't seem to find them in the stores near my house.

I'd like it if recycled and or bleach-free paper was used. As far as I am aware bunn doesn't have that available. It's a shame they don't. If we're all about coffee flavor I don't think bleach helps.

Also I should have thought before about this but shipping is more expensive than the filters themselves. I purchased other items but they were not shipped together- my bad perhaps but it would be good to have them ship together.

If you have a Bunn coffee maker, you must use their filters. Any other filter and you can end up with coffee everywhere. The filter allows the water to flow thru at a faster rate. The coffee maker keeps water in the coffee maker and always hot. When pour in more water and close the lid, the coffee begins to be made immediately. Your pot is ready in about 3 minutes. Much faster than an ordinary drip coffee maker. The filters and the coffee maker work great. If you want your coffee hot and fast, this is the way to go. Without doubt, this is the best coffee maker and the best filters I have ever used.

Arrived in about 1 week in good condition. However I find I can purchase these filters at my local Walmart store and not have to pay shipping charges.

The product was fine but I got screwed on the shipping! I spent $1.50 on the product but unwittingly paid $7.00 on the shipping-ouch!!!
